Lithuania in the Olympic Festival

The Kingdom of the Netherlands was the first European country to host the Olympic festival of the continent’s most talented young athletes. Lithuania was represented by 54 athletes who competed in track and field athletics, swimming, judo, cycling, gymnastics, and tennis events.

Benediktas Mickus won the 800 m running event. Tomas Kuzmickas won bronze in the gymnastics floor exercise event. 5 athletes won 5th places, 1 athlete was 6th, and 1 – 7th.
