The National Olympic Committee of Lithuania joined the United Nations movement for gender equality and launched the HeForShe initiative in Lithuania. The project serves as an invitation to men to express their support for women and, together with them, actively aspire for equal gender opportunities, change stereotypes, and be a united and visible driving force of change.

Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė is the Patron of the initiative. Read the interview.

The LNOC views the HeForShe project through the prism of sport – the LNOC talks about the women who work in the area of sport and the men who support them, about their problems and challenges, and looks for ways to talk about that out loud, referring to the current national affairs and athletes’ stories.
