Lithuania in the Olympic Days

In this event Lithuania was represented by 27 athletes – swimmers, track and field athletes, cyclists, tennis players, and jukodas.

Track and field athletes Agnė Visockaitė and Mindaugas Pukštas both won gold medals: Agnė won the 200 m event, while Mindaugas was the first to finish in the 2000 m event.

Swimmer Eugenijus Rakitinas was 4th, judoka Giedrius Jančiauskas – 5th, and cyclist Valerijus Novikovas – 6th.

Plaukikas Eugenijus Rakitinas liko ketvirtas, dziudo imtynininkas Giedrius Jančiauskas penktas, dviratininkas Valerijus Novikovas – šeštas.
