OLYMPIC SPORT AND LITERATURE COMPETITION LAUREATES AWARDED
On 20 April in the headquarters of the Lithuanian NOC were honoured school students- participants of Olympic Sport and Literature Competition for the third time launched by the International Olympic Committee and its Commission for Culture and Olympic Education.
Two Lithuanian schoolchildren became the first place winners, one in category under 12 years old and another in category 2, and that was 18 years old graduate from principal school in Alytus city; IOC prizes and diplomas for them were presented by LNOC president Arturas Poviliunas.

The second place diplomas went to graduate from Radviliskis (18 years old) and another youngster (under 12); With third place diplomas were honoured another two Lithuanian young students.
Numerous guests witnessed this festive ceremony including prizewinners' teachers and friends. Congratulatory speeches were pronounced by Milda Laurutenaite, head of DPES Unit for Physical Culture strategy and Ona Baboniene, director of Sports Center for Lithuanian schoolchildren & students.
