85 YEARS OF OLYMPIC HISTORY

To commemorate the 85th anniversary of Lithuania's Olympic history, on 2 June 2009, in the premises of the Lithuanian National Olympic Committee, the exhibition was opened which brought together journalists, historians and sports workers.

Lithuanian athletes made their debut in 1924 at the VIII Olympic Games in Paris, where the country was represented by 13 athletes.

This exhibition was honoured by Valdas Adamkus, Head of state, who attended this celebration together with his spouse Alma Adamkus. Also present were LNOC president Arturas Poviliunas ,Secretary General Vytautas Zubernis and Algirdas Raslanas, General Director of the Department for Physical Education and Sport.

This historical exhibition was collected & designed by a well-known collector Vytautas Gudelis.
