Agreement between the lithuanian and russian olympic committees

On 16 April in Moscow, in the headquarters of the Russian Olympic Committee, the president of the Russian OC, Leonid Tyagachev and Arturas Poviliunas, the LNOC president (see photo), signed a bilateral agreement between their two organizations.

The ROC and LNOC will now develop cooperation in the field of scientific and technical promotion of sport movement. Among the topics covered by this agreement are sporting exchanges, training athletes, sports medicine and coaching.

Attending this ceremony were also Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania in the Russian Federation, Antanas Vinkus, ROC Honour president Vitaly Smirnov, Lithuanian NOC Secretary General Vytautas Zubernis and numerous Russian media representatives.
